Objective

In Texas hold 'em, like all types of Poker the individual players play for money which has accumulated by the players themselves by placing their bets in the "pot". The player decides how much money they would like to contribute in the pot based on the cards the player contains.
Texas Hold'em contains numerous rounds of hands and deals where the player with the best poker hand will receive the money in the pot. At the end of a hand a Showdown may be used in which case the players that remain need to compare their hands to one another and the player with the highest is awarded the pot money. If there is a case where more than one player has the highest hand then the pot is divided equally. Another possible way to win the pot money is if there is one player left playing as all the remaining players have folded then it is awarded to the player who has not folded.
